post-s1 Carson introspection ft: drinks with Jo, roadtrips with Lupe and Jess, hugs from Maybelle, a blissful reunion with Greta, and all the letters Carson never sent -

“’Would you hate me if I came to visit? I know we both need to find our own paths, but all I ever do is count the days until they merge back together again.’

She thinks of Greta during every waking moment and dreams about her when she falls asleep as whichever train she finds herself on hurtles onwards through the night.”

Carson struggles to find herself after Rockford, cast adrift from her friends and from Greta. She quickly learns that she is not the only one, but The Peaches will help each other readjust together. They are there as Carson reclaims lost parts of herself and slowly makes her way across the country to Greta, to her home.

(don’t you ever grow up) it could stay this simple

scotthope and cassie domestic fluff -

“If Hope has a suit and she fights bad guys, does that mean she’s a superhero too?” Cassie asks the question as seriously as any ten-year-old might.
Scott gives his answer very careful consideration. “Do you think she’s a superhero?”
Cassie crosses her arms and looks at him as if he has completely lost his mind. “Yes. Obviously.”

Everyone and their dog has Captain America or Iron Man merchandise these days, so Cassie is pretty frustrated that her favourite superheroine doesn’t come on a backpack or t-shirt.

Scott agrees that the situation urgently needs to be rectified. When Hope finds them both at the kitchen table, covered in glitter glue, she isn’t quite so certain that she concurs.
